Whether I’m on the road or at home, one thing rings true. I always have to have my morning cup of coffee. What you might not know about me and the hubs is how absolutely obsessed we are with the whole coffee scene, particularly small batch roasts. For example, in our freezer, we have beans from small purveyors in Hawaii, Equador, Mexico and from your “larger local roasters” like Stumptown, Coava, Nossa Familia, Portland Roasting, Sleepy Monk that we choose from each morning. After we pick the roast, we then decide how we want to brew our coffee and choose from our espresso machine, French Press, regular coffee pot or the percolator. You get the picture. We love coffee. That’s why whenever we travel, we seek out that areas top coffee roasters and if relevant, growers, to visit and purchase beans from. It’s become our little side hobby and we thoroughly enjoy learning what makes each roaster (or grower) unique.
Recently, I was racking my brain on what to get my husband for our anniversary…and I stumbled upon a whole new world known as ‘Coffee Clubs’. What?!? Yes! Coffee Clubs. It’s exactly like a wine club, just with coffee. Well, I did my research and decided that the best choice was the Atlas Coffee
