Hi, I’m Marissa.

I’m so glad you’re here!

I’m a recent thirty-something born and raised Oregon girl obsessed with living my best life and experiencing all the world has to offer. I am a wifey, fur mom, sister, niece, daughter and friend. 

A few things about me: I am an experience junkie* who loves to travel and create “once-in-a-lifetime” experiences for family and friends. I love working out and living an active, healthy lifestyle, but I have a serious downfall for sweets, wine and yummy cocktails. A lot of the time you can find me in the kitchen baking up a storm. 

I got married to my hubs Tyler in 2013 and together we had our sweet boy named Nick, a sprite 20-something senior citizen rescue kitty we adopted in 2014. Nick recently passed away, and we adopted our new furchild, Teddy! I never thought I would be a cat-mom, since I’m a dog-person, but Nick stole our heart and confirmed that cats aren’t half bad. We plan to adopt a fur dog brother for Teddy as soon as we move into the new home we are currently building!

I started this blog because a member of my girl tribe encouraged me to share my advice on life and travel…My friends and family love to joke that I never leave any stones unturned when trip planning, and I have a knack for always finding the best deals…for ANYTHING. So here we are!
