I’ve always loved Valentine’s Day, ever since I was a little kid! There was something so special about a day that you literally were free to “spread the love” and let all those special people in your life know how much you cared for them. My enthusiasm must have stemmed from my parents, as each Valentine’s Day my folks go out of their way to hand-make a sweet Valentine’s Day note, along with a special treat or gift certificate. Even as an adult, my parents still continue this tradition and it always my favorite part of the holiday! I love it so much that each year, my nearest and dearest receive little Valentine’s Day treats and love notes of their own.
