[…] p.s. Here is a direct link to my Godmother’s Fresh Cranberry Relish! […]
During the holidays, when family members are signing up for what they plan to bring for dinners whether it be Thanksgiving or Christmas, one request is always made clear. “Make sure Jan brings her cran”. You see, Jan is my Godmother, and every year she brings her famous cranberry relish. It’s the one dish that leaves people fighting for the last bits and eventually gets wiped clean. It’s for good reason too, it’s simply the best fresh cranberry relish you’ll ever have in your entire life. And today, I’ve gotten permission to share the recipe with you! I hope you at least try this recipe once during the holidays, you will definitely leave your family requesting it year after year! Promise!
FRESH CRANBERRY RELISH
INGREDIENTS
– 1 – 12 oz bag fresh cranberry (if only available in frozen fresh whole cranberry, then make sure to thaw out prior)
– 2 – medium sized navel oranges, unpeeled, cut into thick slices
– 1/4 – 1/2 cup organic sugar to taste
DIRECTIONS
Place all ingredients into your food processor (I love this one!) and process until a nice, fine chopped texture. Place into airtight bowl (these are BPA free, glass and amazing!), cover and let sit overnight to marinate in the fridge! ENJOY!

Aww! Of course! I made a small batch the weekend before Thanksgiving just to add to my Turkey/Cream cheese sandwiches for the week 🙂 SOO YUM!! 🙂 Enjoy!!
Can I boil this in canning jars to save as gifts?
Yes! Just make sure to add enough sugar to create a natural preservative.
