This Easter is probably going to be one of the most difficult for all of us…at least I know it will be for our family. Traditionally, on Easter we either go to Church service by ourselves, or with my parents, and then have a huge and delicious Easter Brunch with the whole family. The kids in my family might all be older, but that does not stop my mom from putting together cute Easter baskets for all of us filled with traditional goodies like Cadbury Creme Eggs, Hershey Kisses, Reeses Peanut Butter eggs and Starburst Jelly Beans. All the traditional candies! She even will bake some yummy Easter cookies (Her Spritz Cookie Recipe can be found here!) sprinkled with pretty pastel colors and tucked neatly into our baskets. This year, since we cannot gather with our family and have the big Easter we are used to, today’s Monday Motivation is focused on all the various ways you can connect and show your loved ones you’re thinking about them this Easter! Happy Easter everyone!
EASTER GIFT BASKETS
BUILD YOUR OWN CHOCOLATE GIFT BASKET
Godiva Chocolate offers the opportunity for your “Build Your Own Chocolate Easter Basket” where you simply click on everything you want to add to your basket, including even a cute plush bunny, and build you own basket to be delivered! If you don’t have time, or would rather order one premade, they even offer those too!
Godiva is also running a pretty great sale on their chocolate gift boxes, like this Patisserie Dessert Truffles Gift Box and this Spring Assorted Chocolate Gift Box.
Currently, Godiva is also offering free shipping for any purchases over $15.
MOVIE NIGHT GIFT BASKET
Dylan’s Candy Bar came up with this great idea for a “Movie Night Gift Basket” this is the perfect basket to send for the entire family to enjoy! It includes all the sweet treats you need for a night in on the couch. They also have some more traditional baskets, like their Best of Dylan’s Candy Bar Gift Basket which includes all of their top selling candy items!
GOURMET GIFT BASKETS
For him, for her, for kids, for entire families, Gourmet Gift Baskets has a gift basket for anyone! You can even choose a basket that features beer or wine, and send a “Adult Easter Basket”! My personal favorites are the Easter Morning Breakfast Gift Basket, which includes ready to bake pastries and sparkling wine, the Easter Care Package, and the Easter Bunny Gift Tower!
CAKES & PASTRIES
MILK BAR STORE
If you’re not in the know about this gem of an online shop, let me introduce you. Milk Bar Store ships dessert & sweets care packages nationwide so you can spread the love where it’s needed most. I have personally LOVED everything I’ve ever ordered from them. One year, for Tyler’s Birthday I ordered him the Assorted Cookie Tin AND the Chocolate Cake to celebrate.
They even have this Chocolatey Sampler Tin, which would be perfect to send to a family to enjoy! There are so many treats that you can choose from, you might even have a difficult time deciding! It’s Double Truffle!
WILLIAM SONOMA
Call it your one-stop Easter Shop, William Sonoma has you covered for everything from Easter decor to Easter baskets to Easter pastries to Easter candy and cakes! Heck, they even have you covered for Easter dinner option! Did you know they sell Beef Wellington’s on their website? We ordered these a few years back for Christmas Eve and they were TO DIE FOR!
A few stand outs are this We Take The Cake Yellow Rose Layer Cake, which is on sale right now, and this We Take The Cake Speckled Robin’s Egg Cake. If you’re the type of family to serve cake on Easter.
We particularly love all the Williams Sonoma food and candy options, which are always super high quality. This year, I grabbed Tyler this box of little chocolate eggs which is now on sale for a super good price and I also purchased this Wise Sons Deli The Weekend Fresser which we will enjoy Easter morning!
FLOWERS
THE BOUQS CO
Right now, my very favorite online flower shop, which offers extremely high quality flowers delivered is The Bouqs Co. Their entire moto is grounded in transparency, responsibility and simplicity, that by building meaningful relationships with like-minded farmers and florists they are then empowering them to thrive, and eliminate unnecessary waste along the way. It’s a genius concept and one I feel really good supporting, and you should too.
If you’re looking for a nice bouquet for Easter, consider one of the following!
ADULT GIFT BASKETS
This year, my husband and I are putting together “Adult Easter Baskets” for all of our friends and family. We plan to drop them off on Easter morning as a delicious little surprise. During this time, especially your single friends(!!) consider sending a sweet little adult Easter basket. I personally love the selections we found at William Sonoma for all the cocktail mixers, like this gift set from Casaamigos Tequila or this set called Summer In A Cup! Consider adding a bottle of tequila or vodka to accompany your gift!
I hope you’ve all enjoyed this Easter gift post, like we all need to remember, everyone need a little extra love right now and this holiday is no exception. Tomorrow, I will be talking about all the local Oregon wineries you can support this Easter and rounding up all the lovely extra opportunities and discounts they are offering customers during this time.
Happy Easter everyone!
XO,
M
P.S. It’s almost MAY. If you’re looking for another tasty classic cocktail, consider checking out this recipe for the best Mint Julep! Cheers friends!
