The Little Italian Sour Cocktail
October 27, 2020Tuesday Boozeday…right?! I know we aren’t all in college anymore (even though I could list a few people I know who are still living out their glory days hard)…but sometimes it’s fun to break out the cocktail shaker and mix up a lively libation on a Tuesday night. Because, why not? We’re all adults here. Below is what we are going to be shaking up tonight for a tipsy Tuesday cocktail. This delightful little number is tart, light, and refreshing and seriously makes a great pre-dinner or brunch drink. Aperol is an Italian amaro that’s similar to Campari, but much milder with notes of bitter orange, rhubarb, and herbs. For the gin, I particularly enjoy Sipsmith, which is slightly heavier on the floral botanicals but still nice and dry. This is seriously the perfect sipper for any Tuesday night or Sunday morning. I hope you try it and enjoy the Sour Italian Cocktail! Cheers!
