Sweet and Spicy Pineapple Margarita

I love getting creative with making at-home margaritas, I’m always putting a fun twist on them. This recipe for Sweet and Spicy Pineapple Margarita is no exception! Follow the recipe below to learn how to make a Pineapple Margarita that packs the perfect amount of heat and sweet and is my go-to summer cocktail for a reason! Sweet and Spicy Pineapple Margarita

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Fresh Pineapple
- 8 ounces Tequila
- 4 ounces Grand Marnier
- 2 ounces Fresh Lime Juice
- 2 ounces Simple Syrup
- 1 tsp Sea Salt
- 1 tsp Organic Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Organic Cayenne
Instructions
- Prep your pineapple by cutting it up into small chunks.
- Next, mix the sea salt, organic sugar and organic cayenne together in a small dish. This will be your glass rimming salt.
- Run a cut lime around the rims of 4 glasses and then twist the rims through your salt mix.
- Fill the prepped glasses with ice.
- Place 4 pineapple slices into a cocktail shaker and fill with ice.
- Next, add in the tequila and Cointreau.
- Shake or muddle for about one minute, or until the pineapple looks pulpy.
- Divide your cocktail into your prepped glasses, garnish with jalepeno and lime wedges. Enjoy!
Tip: For an extra kick of spice, slice up some jalapenos and add a few slices to the cocktail shaker!
